Process for Block Account

For a German study visa, you must show proof of funds through a blocked account.

The required amount is 11,208 Euro for one year (amount may change slightly as per German regulations).

1) Choose a Blocked Account Provider

Select an approved blocked account provider. Commonly used providers are:

• Expatrio
• Fintiba
• Coracle
• Deutsche Bank

Online providers are faster and easier for students.

2) Create Online Account

Register on the provider’s official website.

Fill in personal details exactly as per passport.

Upload required documents (passport copy, admission letter).

3) Receive Payment Details

After registration, you will receive:

• Blocked account IBAN
• Confirmation letter for embassy
• Transfer instructions

This document is required for your visa file.

4) Transfer Required Funds

Transfer 11,208 Euro from your or your sponsor’s bank account.

International transfer usually takes 3–7 working days.

Keep payment receipt as proof.

5) Blocked Account Confirmation

Once funds are received, the provider issues a Blocked Account Confirmation Certificate.

This certificate is submitted with your visa application.

6) Apply for Student Visa

7) Travel to Germany
